⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — Carolyn Davis
After taking care of some business at the Putnam County courthouse, I decided that I needed something, something for my tummy! I remembered that my dad liked going to the Winfield Dairy Freeze for the footlong WV hot dogs. A really nice American little nostalgic restaurant. However, I really wasn't in the mood for hot dogs and decided for the cheeseburger meal. It comes with French fries or onion rings and a drink. You do have a choice of fries, but, sorry, I didn't write them down in my journal! Since I had been in the cold, I wanted to warm up a bit and sat outside. So, the drive-thru was out. I was asked if I wanted a dessert when ordering, only I was just not sure if I could eat it all and held up on it, even though the butterscotch sundae really did sound good. Anyway, the wait on the fresh burger took no time at all - drive-thru was a poppin'!! I enjoyed the meal and it was just right for me! I love the nostalgia of the inside dining area and took two small videos of it. I will be back for that Footlong, but will bring a sweater!

This place is so cool , they have good food and the atmosphere is that of a different era. It’s one of the last mom and pop dairy bars left in my area. Great Place

Food is good, the cakes are homemade, the tangerine cake is delicious. We started to come here on the regular for the dine in. The booths are a tight squeeze but they do have a couple of tables with chairs.
